I put this on my wish list thinking it was a gel skin for protection. It is a beautiful decal and I suppose would protect the back from scratches. Because it is so beautiful and will make my Kindle Fire more unique I kept it and bought the JustCase Slim Snap On Hard Shell Back Case for Amazon Kindle Fire (clear)- It shows off the decal beautifully, can't say it would add as much protection as a gel skin would but it helps so for extra protection I also bought the Deft Dante 360: Rotating Blue Kindle Fire Case. Even with the clear case on, the kindle fire fits into the Deft Case nicely but I can take it out and enjoy the beautiful decal.

I got this sub enclosure because it has a low profile. I have a big family so I want, better said, I need all trunk space. This little box does the trick. One important note for 07-11 Honda CRV owners, it will only fit facing up since the CRV only has a 13" clearence to the Hard Cover Mat ( I knew this before I i bought it). I have a 10" Punch Sub and let me me tell you that this lil Box has a kick that sounds loud anought and wont rattle your ride.

paired with a rockford fosgate 10 inch, i found the box to not restrict power much. i use it in a trunk setting, because i need the space. if looking for a small box to minimize space consumption, this is particularly wonderful. but expect it to possibly fall over. mine has a few times, and thus subsequently ripped out the power cord, that i awesomely attached to my amp which i stupidly bolted to the back. a few l brackets and screws though, and your set.

I've used this product on my iPod Touch for a few weeks and it does seem to offer good protection. Applying it to the front and back of the iPod is a finicky two-step process but the instructions were very helpful. The spray bottle of application fluid arrived with a loose cap and disconnected tube and I lost some fluid while straightening this out. Also, there are tiny projections of the cover that wrap around the corners of the iPod and one of those is adhering poorly but I may be able to remedy that. The front cover does not seem to have noticeably affected the touch function. I can't compare this product to similar ones but, so far, it's working okay and a lot easier to live with than a bulky case.
Later: The cover is holding up well but the finicky, little corner pieces have defied all of my efforts to make them stick to the iPod. An email to the company produced a shrug with no help offered.

I bought my iPod Touch 2g used, and it had a BodyGuardz shield preinstalled on the back. I installed a ZAGG invisibleShield on the front, and it only lasted a short time before it became damaged. I decided to use BodyGuardz on the front this time, and I'm really glad I did. It looks nicer, as there is barely a hint of orange-peel effect (which is pronounced with the invisibleShield). By sight and touch, you're hard-pressed to tell you have a screen protector on at all. I don't think BodyGuardz claims to have the "self-healing" properties of the invisibleShield, but twice I've noticed light scratches or marks that were gone later. Since I only installed the front myself, I can only speak in terms of that, but I found it easy to apply. At first there was a somewhat cloudy appearance and a few remaining bubbles, but just as the instructions say, they were gone the next day. I think following the directions is key, as well as patience. Find a clean, dust-free area to work in, when you can take your time and not be interrupted. I think you'll be happy with the results.

This screen protector is pretty decent. It competes with InvisiShield and Zagg. I've tried Zagg, Bodyguardz on countless of occasions but with a 3rd brand, Wrapsol, being my most favorite. Bodyguardz now has some options of purchasing a "dry" screen where you don't need the included spray that comes with some of their other screen protectors. The dry protector allows you to simply place the screen on and, if you don't like how it was applied, reposition the screen protector again. It's application is much faster and more hassle-free.

Good product, overall.

I love bags, and particularly Timbuk2 bags. My wife and I have four between us, and they get a lot of of use, as everything from diaper bags to briefcases. Recently, I bought a Q laptop backpack because heavy shoulder bags were making me sore and uncomfortable, and the Arc'teryx Blade 15 that I tried didn't work (see my review of that bag for why).

The size and design of the Q are great. It even passes decently as a briefcase, which is nice for a lawyer and frequent presenter.

The problem is in the laptop compartment. As you can see in the picture I uploaded, the pad that is supposed to cushion the computer slides out of the way. It's easy to see why. Balancing a cube on a cylinder is inherently unstable, like logrolling. The pad is too stiff to do anything but slide out of the way. The unfortunate result is an uncomfortable ridge across my lower back, and the bag fails at the main thing it is supposed to do: protect my laptop.

I contacted Timbuk2 about the problem, and they said they know about the problem, but don't have a revised backpack available. They sent a couple of strap pads with the idea that I could shove them in there and make it work. So far, they are just making the problem worse.

While I love this bag, the fact that it fails at its primary purpose is a huge disappointment, and nearly a dealbreaker. I'm not sending it back; instead, I'm learning to constantly readjust my laptop. However, I am hoping Timbuk2 will fix the laptop pad problem and exchange my bag for the fixed version.

I really like this bag. I like the computer cord pocket at the bottom. The bag is a great size for me, not big but it easily fits my computer, a file, a book and few daily items. E-bags said that my Toshiba Satellite would not fit in it but it does, as does my old 17" computer. The only thing I don't like is that the front pocket seems to open the wrong way to get into it while accessing the computer pocket. Otherwise it is perfect for day to day.

Belkin now has the Revision 3 (three) of the product available which supports 2GB SD Cards. Check if you have a little sticker on the bottom of your cardreader.

I contacted technical support if the product number and asked "guess what my problem is", Support guessed right and assumed its the 2 GB SD problem and offered an exchange free of charge.

I give Belkin a big plus for the hassle free exchange, however a similar big minus for selling outdated products in the first place and hoping no one notices. Therefor, three stars.

Belkin F5U249 Review by Gadgester "No Time, No Money" (Mother Earth)

The Belkin Hi-Speed USB 2.0 15-in-1 Media Reader & Writer allows you to transfer files between your PC and flash media cards. You can also transfer files between flash cards, since they just show up as external drives (e.g., F:, G:, H:, etc.) in your Windows Explorer. The 15 supported flash formats are:

1. xD Picture Card (used in Fujifilm and Olympus digicams)
2. CompactFlash I
3. CompactFlash II
4. Microdrive (from IBM or Hitachi or Toshiba)
5. SmartMedia
6. Secure Digital (the most popular kind of flash)
7. Mini SD (used in the latest Sanyo cell phones and various Pocket PC phones)
8. Multimedia Card
9. RSMMC (a smaller type of Multimedia Card that requires an adapter)
10. Memory Stick
11. Memory Stick PRO (higher-capacity Memory Stick)
12. Memory Stick MagicGate
13. Memory Stick Duo (half-sized as Memory Stick)
14. Memory Stick Duo PRO
15. Memory Stick MagicGate Duo

As you can see, many formats are just variants of one another. The reader/writer has four slots, so you can stick in at most four flash memory cards at a time.

The reader/writer installed painlessly and started working right away, but I soon found out speed was not consistent, even when reading from or writing to the same card. I use this with Windows XP Professional SP 2. I usually get about 10-15MB/sec of performance with my external hard drives (e.g. Sony Micro Vault 5GB, Seagate 200GB USB 2.0), and with my previous Dazzle media reader/writer, I was getting around 5MB/sec on average. (I actually use a dedicated Sony Memory Stick reader/writer which I bought a while ago for my PSP, and its average speed is around 10MB/sec.)

But with the Belkin -- which is powered directly by the USB port -- I get anywhere from 1MB/sec (USB 1.1 performance) to 10MB/sec. It's not a question of file size as my measurement has been normalized around that. (What I mean is, no matter what operation system you use, it takes more time to read/write a large number of small files than a small number of large files, even when the total size is the same. This is due to the way file systems handle files -- think of them as databases that must retrieve or create data entries.)

This is disappointing to me, since I like predictability when it comes to performance. This is true esp. because I got this to use with my laptop to transfer pictures on-the-go. If it takes too long to transfer, my laptop's battery might run low or I might be in a hurry to board a flight. Anyway, while the overall performance of the Belkin is tolerable, I'm disappointed.

But it still deserves 4 stars because it's small, stylish, and installs easily. And it does accommodate pretty much all the different kinds of flash memory you can find. If you need a versatile media reader/writer, this is worthy of a look.

This item came without instructions. It took me a while to figure out how to attach it to my Garmin Nuvi, and I had to contact Gilsson to find out how to detach it. After contacting them I realized it's meant to be used on the outside of the vehicle. The Gilsson antenna generally adds bother to using the Garmin, and only in a few instances (driving near skyscrapers) does it add any accuracy (which you can measure for yourself using the satellite location screen on your Nuvi). In that circumstance it is minimally helpful.

My GPS is mounted in the front console, below the dash. It is not an ideal satellite reception location, but in California it's against the law to mount anything on the windshield that will obscure your view. I've purchased the Gilsson antenna after encountering reception problems around tall buildings in a downtown area. Rather then attach the antenna to the roof of the car I've experimented simply placing it on the dash. Not only were the reception problems eliminated, but satellite acquisition on power up improved tremendously. It used to take several minutes for my GPS to acquire a satellite signal. With the Gilsson external antenna it takes less then 30 seconds. As a follow up, I also ended up buying the suction cup antenna mount. There was enough space to attach it to the windshield, behind the rear view mirror. From the drivers' position you can't see the antenna, so it does not obscure in any way the drivers' view of the road. All in all an excellent product.

I bought this antenna from an Amazon vendor after comparing reviews of similar antennas. My experience is only one data point, but this antenna functioned for only a bit more than a month before failing. It was mounted on the cowl of my Toyota Landcruiser, so not in a place of extra ordinary heat, vibration or other conditions that I would have thought might cause failure in a product purportedly intended for use on a vehicle or vessel.

For the short time it did work, it was not noticeably better than a less expensive Garmin auxiliary antenna I owned previously. The Garmin died after about 18 months, and was mounted in a similar spot on my Range Rover Classic.

For the record, this vendor warrantied the antenna and offered an immediate replacement.

Great product needed it for elctronics in afghanistan. Like the fact that it can take both 220 and 120. Only issue is like most transformers, it is very heavy and almost ripped the box during transit.

I purchased this transformer to use my British blender in the States. After reading the instructions, I was making smoothies in my blender in 5 mins :) It is very simple to use. This transformer accepted my UK plug without any need of extra adapter plugs and it completes ground with a grounded US cord. I also like it because its a dual converter, so when I go back to the UK I can use it there with my American products. The outlets in the front are clearly labeled, use the 220V outlet for your 220V appliances in the US or use the 110V outlet for your US appliances overseas. Also, select the input voltage in the back according to the country you're using it in, I selected 110V for use in the US. The transformer is also fuse protected and it came with 2 spare fuses in the box. It also came with a European plug.

Being an electrical engineer, I would recommend this product because its simple to use for anyone and most important it is completely grounded which makes it safe.
