This food mill is fantastic - SUPER easy to use, clean and assemble. So far I've made some parsnips and carrots (cooked) for my 6 month old. I did need to add a quite a bit of water - as the puree was a bit thick/chunky for him. One thing to know - the top/motor part of the mill does not "lock" in, you just place it on top, push down, and the motor starts to run - couldn't be easier to use!

This is not a food mill, it is more like a cheap/clunky version of a mini-cuisinart. It will not puree (especially not smaller amounts) so it has not been useful for baby food... yet. I'll be able to use it when my baby graduates from purees to finely chopped foods. But frankly I'd prefer to have a good mini-cuisinart for that job and Lowe's sells them for less than 40$. So, all told, a waste of money for me, though it may work fine for those who want things chopped.

I was given this as a gift at my baby shower before my daughter was born. Now 5 months later she just is starting to eat solid foods, so I used it for the first time. First off I agree with the other reviewer, the lid gets stuck easily. Very annoying! Second, the motor turns on as soon as it is plugged in and the only control you have is to 'turbo' speed. 'Turbo' is a nice feature as it helps get all of the food pureed, but I wish the motor didn't turn on until I pressed the button. Having to unplug the unit to turn it off is just annoying especially if you have a baby in your arms.

It was a gift so I'm using it for now, but I really wish I had just a plain old food processor.

I was kind of hoping that this shampoo and conditioner wouldn't be that great, because it is a little expensive. Turns out it really does make a difference. I am 44, and my hair was turning into "old lady hair". Fine and wavy - it looked thin and frizzy and kind of dull. Now, it is full and vibrant and pretty again - yay! No more old lady hair for me, I'll continue to cough up the cash.

I bought this in June of this year and it quit working in August. Out of nowhere. The horn itself was loud and easy to install with the wiring kit that you have to buy seperate. I do not recommend this horn because it only lasted 2 months. This thing should last a few years. I've read that this is not uncommon for this product so shop around for something else. A horn on a bike is a safety feature and if your horn has a high chance of quitting on you for no apparent reason than you've put yourself in unnecesary danger. I've learned the hard way. What a waste of $50

This is a nice-looking fan with its polished black body and folding feature (the fan turns completely down so the grill is hidden and all you see is a big black thing-a-majig). But, the fan doesn't give that great of air output and is a bit noisy (ok in low mode but too noisy in high mode). Also, the oscillating button is hidden in the back of the fan - very inconvenient. But, the worse thing is the on/off switch is a hard-to-move dial located in the front. You need 2 hands to turn the fan on and off. One hand to hold the whole fan from falling while turning it on/off, and the other hand to actually turn the difficult on/off dial switch. The fan looks really cool but just doesn't do it for me.

I like having a fan in the bedroom at night, but my wife prefers it as quiet as possible, so I've been searching for a very quiet fan. I'm a big fan of Vornado products, so had a lot of hope for the Flippi.

The fan is cute, and is a perfect size for sitting on the bedstand. The switches (off/low/high) and oscillation on/off work fine and I have no problem with their somewhat awkward locations. But the fan isn't "silent" or even particularly quiet even on low. It sounds pretty much like any other table fan, both with wind noise and mechanical noise. I tried putting it on mouse pads, cushions and even holding it in the air, and it still sounds like a fan.

So if you want a cute, decent fan at a good price, go for it, but don't expect it to be really quiet - it's just a fan!

We bought this, with train table, 16 years ago. Once the boys grew out of the trains, it became our family room coffee table and held video game accessories and movies. My 17 year old jumped on it to get away from his brother and the table finally gave out. We now use the drawer under a bed and it is so perfect I was looking to buy 2 more. This drawer does NOT show it's age. The table probably could have been easily fixed, but we really were done with it. I would definitely recommend this.

After reading reviews I was fairly comfortable making the purchase. Item was delivered fairly quickly and assembled in about an hour. The wife is very happy with the over-all function and comfort and side table is nice bonus.

Overpriced for what it is. The chair took some time to assemble, but was relatively straight forward. My wife is 9 months pregnant, and she wanted a chair that she could comfortably nurse in. We believe this chair will do the trick as you can lean back and lock the chair in place.

The chair is comfortable, but the Ottoman is quite a bit shorter than the seat pan. My wife has been adding a pillow, on top of the Ottoman, so that her legs don't have to sit low and hyperextend her knees, when she uses the chair.
The locking mechanism, of the chair, is a great feature.
My wife has been using the chair for about 2 months now and the backrest is already starting to break down, as well as the seat pan cushion.
The material, on the arm rests, are starting to break down as well.

Overall, this is a decent chair. If it had been under the $200 mark, then i would expect it to break down at the rate that it is, but it was almost twice that price.
I would recommend this chair, only because it is relatively comfortable and anything better will cost you $700 or $800.

It arrived on time in a deceptively small box, wasn't sure how all three pieces could fit in a box smaller than the dresser, but it did! It went together with relative ease and it quiet lovely to look at and very comfortable to sit in. The "locking" mechanism is a little iffy in that it's a jolt of sorts to lock or release it, but otherwise it glides smoothly, quietly and comfortably. I can't wait to use it more once my baby gets here.

The one big problem is the stand. The bowl fits fine, HOWEVER, the fish does NOT FIT in the round setting, which obviously, is generic for this company. The fish is NOT round so it just balances and a big gust of wind, a dog tail or brushing by it WILL knock it over. I am going to use fishing line to secure it, we even thought of gluing it in place, thats how delicate this is. My advice is BE PREPARED to wrap an ugly string or ribbon or fishing line around the fish so you can own this for a long time without worrying. Otherwise everything else about it is excellent. Manufacturing engineering MISHAP!

I've just read that someone who wrote a review on November 3 said that his 970XT would not mate with a 1.25 hitch receiver. Mine was shipped on October 29 and it perfectly matches my 1.25 receiver. I think that this product is terrific. It's not as light weight as the advertisements suggest but then again I've just had my 68th birthday. It looks great and performs flawlessly. In addition, the pin that the ads show that is used to lock the carrier arm in the down position has been replaced with the same type latch that is used to tilt the main assembly away from the car. This is a definite upgrade. All in all, this is a "10". Oh and by the way, when you remove the carrier from the car, the pin that locks the carrier into the receiver is a little difficult to remove until you jiggle the carrier back and forth.

When we received our new Helium two-bike carrier almost a month ago, I found it very simple to follow the assembly instructions and was able put it together in no time. I am a female who is five feet tall, and although the carrier is not "light as a feather," I find it very easy to lift and hold as I attach it to or remove it from my Ford Explorer receiver hitch.

The cradles and anti-sway cage hold my husband's cruiser bike very well, and we are able to position my women's cruiser in the cradles at an angle [my bike lies on the rack diagonally with the back wheel in the air above my husband's bike] without having to purchase and use the Thule Frame Adapter (saving us $35). We love the fact that we can lock the carrier to my truck's receiver hitch, making it very stable for mounting our bikes. The Helium carrier also has a built-in cable lock that allows us to secure our bikes to the carrier itself. For additional stability, Thule provides a heavy-duty ten-foot strap that has a metal cam-lock buckle. We run the strap around the frames of both bikes and around the carrier post which keeps the bikes from moving and thus banging into each other while on the road.

As an added note, we really like the tilt feature that allows us to open my full-size Explorer hatch door without having to remove the carrier. However, we do remove the bikes before tilting the carrier down.

All in all, we really love our new Helium two-bike carrier and would recommend it to anyone who wants to go biking outside of their own neighborhood!

I use this rack on a Toyoda Highlander and purchased for the rack from HumblePower for a little over $240. The rack is light and clean looking. The aluminum will not corrode and is stiff enough to service two bikes for the 20 plus years I plan on using this rack. The rack is easily moved when it is stored in the back of the Highlander. The Helium works as advertised, could not be happier.

Hey don't be cheap... these are total worth the money. I just wish I had been smarter and bought them years ago. I got two pair. One for me and for whomever I am with. I shoot AR's, 30-06, 45, 22, 12 & 20 gauge guns and these protect me and the people I am with from the sudden loud bangs. Better yet they also allow you to talk and shoot at same time. Sitting in the blind they also magnify the animal sounds you can't hear by just your ears alone. I am recomending them to all my buddies and requiring all the kids to wear them 100% of the time. ALSO DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND CALL PELTOR DIRECT AND TALK TO THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE. THAT WAS THE DECIDING FACTOR FOR ME BUYING THIS BRAND AND SPENDING MORE! you do and you too and be as satisfied as I am.

This is my second set of the Peltor Tactical Sport Hearing Protectors (PTSHP). Lost my first set on my last trip to the range. Somebody got lucky! These are great hearing protectors. They use one pair of AAA batteries and the first pair was used about 2 hours a month for 2 years before I lost them. I also have the slimmer Peltor "Shotgunner" hearing protectors with on/off knobs on each muff. They work well but frequently get accidently bumped on and kill the batteries. Never had that problem with these. While these work great for me, my wife doesn't like them as well as the slim "Shotgunner" model. She also says these don't suppress the noise as well when wearing eye protection. Probably a leak around the ear cup where the eye protection arm rests over the ear. These come with olive cup heads or bright orange cup heads that are easily changed. The head band fits close enough to my head to allow my hat to fit on top.

These hearing protectors are excellent devices for shooting. They provide a stereo sound-view of the world around you while keeping any loud sounds from affecting you. They are quite comfortable (though I have yet to wear them for long stretchs it seems like they would be fine over an afternoon). They are 1000% better than my previous hearing protectors, which were not electronic (I wouldn't go back).

The only thing that is annoying is that they advertise an "Audio jack" for "cell phones, MP3 players or dog trackers" but it is a completely non-standard (and mono, not stereo) port on the device, and the audio cable is not included. The audio cable is very simple (costing less than $0.50 to make, is my guess) and I found it selling from $22 to $40. What a crock. I'll have to check at Radio Shack to see if I can get a compatible cable for a reasonable price.

For shooting I can't actually imagine using this connected to an MP3 player as I usually want to know what's going on around me. However, I can think of other uses for this muff where I might want music as well (mowing the lawn, using a leaf blower, etc.), but not badly enough to pay another $22.

Peltor: Include a cable in the next version, or better yet use a standard 3.5mm mini stereo plug and provide or sell an adapter to the "old" two-prong plug!

I was looking for the plastic backed matress pad and this one seemed to imply that in the description. When I got it there was no plastic lining to be seen. What I realized later is that the liner is inside the pad so you dont get all the crinkle noise etc. Well worth the money and seems to be working on my sons bed.

I have tried all kinds of waterproof mattress pads ( I have two small children that often have accidents) and this is by far the best. It keeps its shape when being washed, thoroughly protects the mattress and doesn't feel or sound like plastic. I will definitely buy more of these for our other beds

I saw the reviews on this product and decided to purchase it. It does work ok, but is somewhat "crunchy"- not plastic-feeling like many others, but does take some getting used to. I find it also to be rather "bunchy". It forms a circle when you hold it up ready to put it on and never settles into the corners of the mattress like you would like it to. The advantage is that it does not easily come off, but it also does not ever lay flat on the mattress causing some bunching. We still use it, but I would rather it had a better fit and a less stiff feel.
